Hollywood glam, with a twist at Armani Spring 2016 Couture
Quando Armani desidera qualcosa, niente può fermarlo. Questa è la bellezza dei suoi backstage che, grazie al Lab Armani Runway vengono trasformati in dei veri e propri laboratori on-the-go in cui le idee di Giorgio Armani vengono pedissequamente tradotte in makeup da Linda Cantello, International Make-up Artist del brand. E cosi, per l’Haute Couture Primavera Estate 2016, è nato l’eyeliner shiny, un prodotto iperpigmentato e lucido che è stato usato per sottolineare la rima ciliare superiore cosi come definire l’arco della palpebra mobile delle modelle, in perfetto stile Anni Trenta e Quaranta. Il risultato? Assolutamente glamour, molto Hollywood del tempo ma con un twist moderno, patinato, d’impatto. La pelle, dal canto suo, non poteva essere più perfetta di cosi grazie all’abbinamento di due nuovi prodotti firmati Giorgio Armani: il Glow-On Moisturizing Balm di Armani Prima e il fondotinta Maestro Glow, un vero e proprio concentrato di luminosità.
A completare il look, l’hairstyle curato da Orlando Pita che, per rispecchiare il glam hollywoodiano del makeup ha vestito le teste delle modelle con parrucche nere e lucidissime caratterizzate da stilose onde.

For this Spring 2016 Couture show the request was a shiny eyeliner and the result couldn’t be more beautiful and elegant. Getting the inspiration for the look from the Thirties' and Forties' fashion, the eyeliner was drew close to lash lines as well as along eyelids' top arcs. The result was a Hollywood glamour, re-looked in a very modern way. Lips were just perfect as was the skin prepped with the upcoming Armani Prima Glow-On Moisturizing Balm and made flawless with my latest crush, Maestro Glow foundation (soon to be reviewed).
As the Hollywood glamour was is in air, hair took inspiration from Greta Garbo and Mata Hari. Orlando Pita styled on each model identical black wavy wig that were as shiny as the eyeliner without the galled effect of the time.
