Playful, youthful, but with style at Hervé Léger SS2016
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the brand at Hervé Léger they wanted to keep things easy and young giving the models a fresh-faced tomboy look and playful hair. The reason was mostly to distinguish the sexiness of the clothes from the overall look and Val Garland for MAC Cosmetics created a cool makeup based on a strobe luminous effect, strong brows and washed out eyes. Key players were the MAC Big Brow used both for brows and eyes and the Strobe Creams in Peach, Gold, Silver and red.
On the counterpart, hair was all about a soft braided ponytail pulled across the crown of the head. A look that was perfectly in line both with Hervé Léger’s sharp tailoring and the more relaxed direction the brand is showing in its thirtieth year. As Pita aid: “It’s a little playful, a little youthful, but still with style”.
