Effortlessly Cool at BCBG Max Azria SS2016
A special airbrush system, black khôl, clumpy mascara and stunning beach waves were the secret weapons backstage at BCBG Max Azria SS 2016, where Val Garland, working with Temptu, and Orlando Pita for TRESemmé transformed each model in “the quintessential California girl that is effortlessly cool”. Skin was flawless thanks to Temptu Air, a new wireless airbrush system that can apply a seamless mist all over the face. To add some volume, Val Garland sculpted eyes and cheekbones with a subtle contouring using respectively the Airpod Highlighter in Champagne and the bronzer in Warm Glow. To bring some some cool rocker vibe the makeup pro rimmed eyes with bold black khôl and added several layer of mascara with a fun brush for a clumpy I-don’t-care effect.
But hair was the feature that everyone was looking at, especially for the way the look was achieved. Indeed, Orlando Pita for TRESemmé created the prettiest effortless californian beach waves that has been seen so far on the catwalks. To end up with the same natural-looking bend, just left hair to air dry in sectioned-off buns and undone once it is almost dry. A trick that I have been using since ever.
Nails looked as close to natural as possible with a coat of Zoya Buff Perfector followed only by the Satin Seal Top Coat.
