Giambattista Valli goes bare for AW14

All was quiet backstage at Giambattista Valli as hair and make-up were all about a raw reality. Buzzword of this and the previous season, ‘raw’ means natural, a bare ‘back to reality’ look that has no frippery nor embellishment. 

Val Garland for MAC Cosmetics created a flawless skin using Face and Body Foundation and then (as requested by Valli) she added shine on top using Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream, a creamy oil that she applied with a fan brush. Brows were brushed with MAC Brow Set Gel for a darker color and hold and Garland used an eyebrow pencil to drawn in a stronger arch when necessary. Then, right before the girls stepped out on the runway, their dewy cheeks were pinched to get a natural blush coming through.

To mirror the shine on the skin, Orlando Pita used l’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil on his low ponies.

Nel backstage dell’AI14 di Giambattista Valli si è visto il trionfo della bellezza nuda e cruda.  Così come sulle passerelle della PE14, anche il prossimo inverno si voterà a un look semplice fatto al massimo di concealer e fondotinta leggeri.

Le sopracciglia sono state messe in riga con il Brow Set Gel e, ove necessario, riempite con una matita. Poi, prima di far uscire le modelle in passerella, la make-up artist ha pizzicato le loro guance per dare un tocco di colore in più.

Per non discostarsi dalla ‘raw reality’, Orlando Pita all’hairstyle ha realizzato delle semplici code basse che riflettevano la brillantezza delle pelle grazie al Mythic Oil di l’Oréal Professionnel.
