The Lipstick of the Year: Clarins Joli Rouge
It seems like 2015 has been the year of lipsticks, of new groundbreaking formulas and striking color pay-off: Chanel revolutionized the Rouge Coco range, Dior updated its Dior Addict and now Clarins is making its own statement winning them all with its new Joly Rouge lipstick.
Combining all its know-how in the skincare department with the power of plants and a fashion-forward thinking, Clarins has revamped the Joli Rouge with a moisture-rich formula that leaves lips smooth, hydrated and perfectly colored. Indeed, even if the Joli Rouge sits in the sheer category - as all the moisturizing lipsticks do - I find that its shades are really easy to build and, after one or two layers, (depending if it is nude or more pigmented) it delivers the exact color of the bullet. The hold is not an all-day one, but compared to the other moisturizing lipsticks it lasts pretty well and touching it up is very easy even with the darkest colors.

Sembra che il 2015 sia stato l’anno dei rossetti - riformulati all’insegna dell’idratazione e del colore: dopo gli straordinari Rouge Coco di Chanel e gli ultimi Dior Addict di Dior, anche Clarins ha voluto dire la sua, sbaragliando la concorrenza in modo strabiliante con i nuovi rossetti Joli Rouge.
Da sempre punto di riferimento delle donne, Clarins ha voluto fondere il suo know how in fatto di trattamenti e skincare, la sua passione per il potere delle piante e una componente fashion-forward nella formulazione del suo nuovo Joli Rouge, un capolavoro di rossetto che lascia le labbra lisce, idratate e colorate al meglio. Non per niente, anche se il Joli Rouge fa parte della categoria di rossetti satin come tutti quelli che hanno un fattore idratazione degno di essere chiamato tale, la sua texture fondente colora le labbra in soli uno o due passaggi (a seconda della tonalità scelta) con l’esatto tono dello stick. La tenuta, poi, è ottima e, anche se non dura tutto il giorno come farebbe un rossetto matte, tiene molto di più degli altri rossetti idratanti e, in più, è facilissimo da ritoccare.
Vestire le labbra di colore non è mai stato cosi confortevole ed elegante e le mie labbra non sono mai state cosi sane e splendenti. Grazie Clarins!
