Dior Addict Lipstick: a little shine never hurt nobody
It’s been less than two months now that the new Dior Addict Lipstick has been launched and there is so much to say about it. Let’s start with the fact that chez Dior they are getting used to their new role of makeup game changers since, once again, they struck down all the competitors with another new, groundbreaking formula. Dior Addict Lipsticks are, indeed, revolutionary inasmuch they combine the moisturizing power of a lip balm, the color pay-off of a lipstick and the shine factor of a lipgloss. All in one. The secret? Just prep your lips with Dior’s Lip Maximizer, dab the excess with a tissue and, if you have naturally pigmented lips like me, conceal your natural color Dior’s Fix It concealer (that I’ll review soon) and let the color pop on your pout!
How the new Dior Addict Lipsticks wear your lips
Of course lighter shades (like Smile on the left) are sheerer so if you want a proper color pay-off you should conceal your lips, otherwise you can use them for a daywear to keep lips moisturized and shiny. On the other hand, darker and bolder shades (like my absolute favorite Be Dior, on the right) get stronger layer after layer.

C’è un nuovo rossetto sul mercato che è nato per soddisfare tutte le donne, è il nuovo Dior Addict Lipstick, un concentrato di colore, idratazione, durata e brillantezza assoluta che reinventa i suoi connotati facendosi letteralmente in quattro e che fa del lipgloss un accessorio totalmente superfluo. Messa a punto in dodici lunghi mesi, il Dior Addict Lipstick aveva un obiettivo finale unico: unire il potere idratante di un balsamo per le labbra, il color pay-off di un rossetto e il fattore di lucentezza di un gloss, tutto in un unico stick e tutto racchiuso nel monogramma della maison, un cuore in gel ultra-idratante infuso per tutta la lunghezza del rossetto che, strato dopo strato, lavora come un top coat e lascia le labbra morbide come non mai, ultra-brillanti e decisamente colorate. Per non parlare poi del comfort assoluto.

Ma non è solo questo, i rossetti Dior Addict vanno oltre e sono pensati per lusingare tutti i tipi di pelle, tutte le forme di labbra e ogni esigenza. Niente più pellicine ne’ linee di disidratazione, neanche sulle labbra che sono sempre secche. Bocche più piene, grazie all’effetto specchio che ostenta una brillantezza estrema. Baci non appiccicosi, magari un po’ colorati, ma comunque e più che mai da urlo. Comfort impareggiabile. Applicazione facile e intuitiva grazie alla texture che scivola e che non richiede di essere definita da una matita. Tenuta ottimale, sempre che uno non abbia il vizio di mordicchiarsi le labbra…
In poche parole, i rossetti Dior Addict sono così lucidi e flattering che sono davvero l’ideale per tutti, certo qualcuno può non amare il finish brillante ma c’è da dire che è un effetto raffinato, per niente girly. Dopo tutto: a little shine never hurt nobody!
Come indossare i nuovi Dior Addict Lipstick
L’unico consiglio: per una tenuta più duratura preparate le labbra con il Lip Maximizer, tamponate l’eccesso con un fazzoletto, neutralizzate il vostro colore naturale se avete labbra iperpigmentate come le mie usando il nuovo correttore Fix IT e lasciate che il colore Dior risplenda in tutta la sua audacia!
Come i Dior Addict Lipsticks vestono le labbra
Ovviamente tutti i Dior Addict Lipsticks hanno una formulazione traslucida che si traduce, per i colori più chiari o nude, in un finish che lascia trasparire il colore naturale delle labbra (a meno che non lo abbiate annullato come descritto sopra con il Fix-It Concealer) mentre, per quelli più pigmentati, in un effetto che si costruisce passata dopo passata, garantendo un colore d’impatto e una modulazione ad hoc. Guardate gli swatches in alto, quello a sinistra è Smile, un rosa tenue, mentre quello a destra è Be Dior, un fucsia d'impatto.
