Beauty Crush: Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet Foundation

Non sono mai stata una fan dei fondotinta, preferisco affrontare la giornata con un solo tocco di correttore sulle occhiaie e sui rossori. Ma quando Chanel lancia un nuovo prodotto non lo si può ignorare. Ecco dunque che, contrariamente alla mia routine, è da una settimina che indosso da mattina a sera il nuovo Perfection Lumière Velvet Foundation.

Per descriverlo mi viene in mente una sola parola: impeccabile. Ed è riduttiva.

Perfetto alleato quotidiano, svolge il suo lavoro nell'ombra. Infatti, è talmente leggero che ci si dimenticherebbe di averlo addosso se non fosse per la sua profumazione che, fin dalle prime ore del mattino, ti ricarica con un boost di energia. Il finish, come annuncia il nome, è proprio vellutato e copre al punto giusto, levigando e uniformando il colorito, senza scadere nell'effetto mascherone. L’applicazione, poi, non potrebbe essere più semplice: Perfection Lumière Velvet Foundation si picchietta e si sfuma con il solo aiuto delle proprie dita.  E il risultato dura veramente tutto il giorno.

Il packaging, infine, è perfetto da portare in borsa o in viaggio: di plastica, piccolo e nero. Ideale per piccoli retouch on the go. 

Quello che più mi piace è che copre imperfezioni e rossori senza compromettere la luminosità del viso. Se non ci credete guardate la foto qui in alto.

I’m not a foundation girl, we know it, but lately Chanel turned me into one. Believe it or not, since I tried the new Perfection Lumière Velvet Foundation it has become my new daily ally.

So, if you should ask me to describe it with one single word I would pick 'impeccable'. Indeed, it is so light that you would forget to have it on if not for its fragrance which immediately gives you an energy boost. The finish, as it is claimed, is really velvety and what I like is that the ultra-soft emulsion, in addition to becoming one with the skin, smoothes and evens out the complexion working as a concealer on dark spots and redness without a hint of thickness.

If you can’t believe it, check out the photo I took: on the left I’m wearing Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet Foundation whereas on the right I’m au naturelle. The new foundation really perfects the skin keeping it radiant, and the result lasts all day. 

The application is really easy,  just blend in with fingertips, from the center of the face outwards!

Last but not least, the packaging: very small, made of plastic and totally black. I adore it. It is perfect both for traveling and to be carried around everyday for a retouch on the go. Indeed, perfection Lumière Velvet Foundation can also be used as a concealer by dabbing onto areas with blemishes.
