Diorshow 2015: the makeover
The incomparable expertise of Dior’s backstage is now within everyone's reach thanks to the new Diorshow 2015 range. Renewed and revised under the expert guidance of Dior Make-Up image and creative director Peter Philips, Diorshow puts the eyes in the spotlight providing cutting-edge tools that are easy to apply, precise and daring at the same time.
First of all the iconic Diorshow Mascara got a huge makeover and - drawing its inspiration from the expressive power of the false eyelashes used during the Dior shows - it creates dense lashes with the stroke of a brush and assure a creamy tailored volume thanks to its new-generation formula enriched with microfibers. I like the idea that I can use the same product to achieve either a natural finish or a dramatic one. Then, the Palette 5 Couleurs Designer is now offered in 6 new combinations of shades that play on infinite layering offering the most long-lasting power and three-dimensional colour. To further emphasize the eyes, the new Diorshow Pro Liner is the perfect hybrid eyeliner that combines the easy application of a pencil with the glide and the intensity of a liquid liner. And it’s waterproof.
Last but not least, eyebrows are enhanced by the pencil Diorshow Brow Styler and tamed with the Diorshow Brow Styler Gel. This product, though, is the only one I didn’t fell in love with. Even if the idea of a gel-serum (in different shades) contained in a click-brush applicator that can release the perfect amount of product is appealing, I found that (at least on my brows) it did’t work properly: the darker shade was too reddish for my hair, the applicator brushes were too short to brush my brows and the gel didn’t set them for long time.
However, the whole collection is genius and I love the fact that it was studied to be easy and immediate and that it can quickly create a flawless look that is both feminine and contemporary.
Other than Diorshow it could be easily named “immediate beauty solution”!

Rinnovata e rivista sotto l'esperta guida del Direttore Creativo e dell'Immagine del make-up della Maison Peter Philips, la gamma Diorshow mette lo sguardo al centro dell'attenzione e lo ridefinisce proponendo strumenti all'avanguardia, precisi e audaci al tempo stesso, che fanno della facilità d'applicazione il loro punto fermo.
Primo fra tutti l'iconico Mascara Diorshow che, ispirandosi al potere espressivo delle ciglia finte usate in sfilata, si veste di nuovo dando vita a un volume su misura, modulabile applicazione dopo applicazione. Le Diorshow Palette 5 Couleurs Designer, invece, si declinano in 6 nuove combinazioni di nuances tutte all'insegna della lunga tenuta, di un colore tridimensionale e di texture che si fondono e si sovrappongono all’infinito. A sottolineare lo sguardo, poi, ci pensa il nuovo Diorshow Pro Liner Waterproof, un eyeliner ibrido che unisce la facilità di applicazione di una matita alla scorrevolezza e all’intensità di un liner liquido. Per un risultato facile e d'impatto.
Cornice dello sguardo, le sopracciglia, sono infine definite dalla matita Diorshow Brow Styler e messe in riga dal gel Diorshow Brow Styler Gel.
Ecco dunque come l'expertise dei backstage Dior con soli cinque prodotti può dar vita a risultati perfetti, femminili e contemporanei. Il mio preferito fra tutti? Il Mascara Diorshow, che con il suo scovolino oversize cattura le ciglia e le definisce in poche passate e che, grazie alla sua modulabilità, permette di dar vita sia a un risultato naturalissimo sia a un finish estremo. All’ultimo posto si posiziona invece il Brow Styler Gel. L’idea è accattivante, il gel-siero (in più sfumature) geniale, il finish naturale ma, purtroppo, la sua brosse non pettina benissimo (ovviamente mi riferisco alle mie sopracciglia, magari sulle vostre funziona a perfezione!).
